Michael Bett joined 1878 Elix Lawyers in September 2019 in the role of Special Counsel.

Michael passed in June 2023.  We remember & recognise the significant impact that he had to our firm and the clients for whom he acted.

Michael was a commercial disputes lawyer with more that twenty-five years of experience in representing clients in complex litigation and disputes resolution.

Michael had particular experience in property and other contractual disputes, construction and civil engineering litigation and in intellectual property disputes.

Michael held a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Sydney and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide.
